A "velocity" has speed and direction, and according to Wikipedia, "velocity" is "vektora rapido" or "vektorrapido". "terminal" is a fancy way to say "end". It looks good to me but seems a bit odd. Perhaps 'eblus' would suit better whan 'devus'. Maybe there could be a 'po' in there, since the sentence is about rates of things. Is the sentence okay as it is, and is there a formal, widely used expression for 'terminal velocity' which I am missing? ex: Have a game or two during the class, but also incorporate something that makes the students feel like they're getting somewhere with Esperanto.
2) Repeat new vocabulary a couple times, but make sure to move on to new words after a sufficient mastery is acheived, as to not bore the kids with the same handful of words.
3) Give an opportunity to talk with the students in Esperanto and don't worry too much about correcting mistakes at the beggining as this can be embarrasing in front of their friends.
Be sure to choose subjects that are interesting to the age-group and insure that everyone has a chance to participate.

Esperantists tend to be about increasing the ease of communication, not muddying it. I think you will find that Esperantists are, as a general rule, against the introduction of slang into the language.

Na, ri, ŝli, 'stas, etc., etc., etc. Nonstandard Esperanto generally doesn't gain much traction unless there's a real need for it. In the sentence you gave as an example:"Mi ne volas esti kun vi, ĉu vi ne komprenas ĝin?"- "ĝin" should be "tion" and it's not really necessary to finish the question with a pronoun at all- "Mi ne volas esti kun vi, ĉu vi ne komprenas?" I'm sorry to have to disagree with you, but I don't think it sounds at all awkward.

However, as Evildela said, if you want to try using your proposed word, go ahead. I think you'll have a hard time being understood. If it were to gain popularity (doubtful) it would become part of the language. I've always followed the saying "Be not the first by whom the new are tried, nor yet the last to lay the old aside." Mañana podrían ofenderse porque compartir el genero neutro con TODAS las palabras de género femenino, es tratar a las mujeres como objetos.

A nice and appealing solution for this would be borrowing an existing word to use only on these particular situations~~ "nodi" (To get)

I got the idea from an article in Wikipedia discussing about interesting Esperanto dialect attempts, which one of them is called "Universal". In Universal words become antonyms by the inversion of their letters, thus making donu (=give) into nodu (=get) (mega "big", gema "little"; donu "give", nodu "receive"; tela "far", leta "near";)

Now, I'm absolutely aware of the problem that "nodi" already IS in fact an existing word in Esperanto.. But, accordingly with the Academy rules, a word may carry more then one meaning if they can't be confused with one another, and are used in different context.. Meaning it Should be ok.. right?

I think this might be extended outside these specific domains, but reagi is more likely to be used in enquiring of somebody's reaction to some piece of news.

For asking for feedback on, say, your teaching of a lesson, you are really asking for comments.

During this Demo class I made LOTS of mistakes. I know that. I am still learning Esperanto. Feel free to post a comment about those mistakes if you want.

But what I am really interested is on feedback about the demo. Do you think it was effective? Entertaining? Clear? I want to be an Esperanto teacher one day. This is just the beginning. I DO know that I need to improve my Esperanto a lot. But I do think I have pretty good teaching skills, though. What do you think?

-La que lo ha hecho era una guiri, cuyo idioma no es castellano, o la pobre sí domina el castellano pero se ha liado con tantas traducciones a 4 idiomas...lo dudo.
-La que lo ha hecho, o sea la farintulo, o la mejor la farintulino (parece una marca de gusanitos o así), le da igual tó, y como lo ha hecho ella pues que viva su...sexo. Podría ser, pero ¿se callan sus colegas, ellas y ellos, ellos y ellas?.

There lives an old woman in the South Indian state of Karnatka. The woman is very religious but she can't read. The local newspaper publishes a column on Hindu mythology on each Sunday. The old woman can recognise the photos but it's her granddaughter who reads out to her what's written beneath those images.

Then it happens that the granddaughter leaves the village for a month to attend a wedding. The old woman can't ask anyone in the village to read for her out of fear that she would be ridiculed. (No one likes curious adults!)

It's Sunday when the granddaughter returns. The old woman is in tears. Her eyes shimmer when she glances her granddaughter come back. Then later in the evening, still teary eyed, she goes to her granddaughter with a month's newspapers' in her hands. But instead of asking her to read, she asks her to teach her the Kannada alphabet.

A week later the old woman can read the newspaper.
