SES-2008 will take place in Modra-Harmónia, Slovakia, in The Education Center of the Center for Higher Education of Comenius University.

The venue is situated in a beautiful and peaceful village, situated at the foot of the Little Carpathian (Malé Karpaty) Mountains , 30 km from Bratislava and 25 km from Trnava. The distance from the Vienna airport (Schwechat) to Bratislava is about 45 km, and the distance from the Budapest airport to Bratislava is about 160 km.

Participates will stay in pleasant two-bed rooms; each room will have its own shower and bathroom. There are rooms for 84 people, and an additional 240 people can spend the night in an adjacent dorm - also in two-bed rooms. In addition, it will be possible to camp out, if you bring your own tent. The participants who register earliest will receive the nicer two-bed rooms, those who register somewhat later will receive the less-nice two-bed rooms, and the latest registrants will stay in rooms in the dorm.

The venue where the program will take place has several study rooms and lecture halls; a computer lab with internet and the ability to use your own laptop computer; wireless internet in the ground floor of the whole building; an auditorium with a lectern, projector, and piano; a TV room; a small exercise center; an indoor game room with billiards and table tennis; an outside tennis court; a foosball table; and a patio with a grill. Right beside the venue there is a bar open all night and nearby, there is also a dance club and a bowling alley.
