Exams

In serious endeavors, it's always important to be able to measure the result. With regard to learning a language, tests of multiple types are the most fitting way to quantify your knowledge.

To take an exam you must be logged in.

Structure of the Examination System

The examination system has two subjects and three levels. Therefore, there will be a total of six tests, when all of them are ready. In lernu! you can take an exam for all three levels. It's possible to take others during events arranged by TEJO and E@I. Here are short explanations of the subjects and levels:

The two subjects

  • Language (To test knowledge of the language Esperanto.)
  • Culture and Movement (To test knowledge of the Esperanto culture and movement.)

The Three Levels

  • Basic (When you have finished, for example, the "Ana Pana" and "Ana renkontas" courses.)
  • Intermediate (When you feel that you speak Esperanto fluently.)
  • Advanced (When you feel ready for the Academy of Esperanto. )

How do I take an exam?

We recommend that you first look through the required prerequisites for the various exams. When you've decided which exam you want to take, choose it under Take an exam. Good luck!
