In serious endeavors, it's always important to be able to measure the result. With regard to learning a language, tests of multiple types are the most fitting way to quantify your knowledge.

Language examinations were revised by a special commission of the Academy of Esperanto.

To take an exam you must be logged in.

Structure of the Examination System

The examination system consists of three levels:

  • Basic (when you have finished, for example, the "Ana Pana" and "Ana renkontas" courses.)
  • Intermediate (when you feel that you speak Esperanto fluently.)
  • Advanced (when you feel ready for the Academy of Esperanto.)

How do I take an exam?

We recommend that you first look through the required prerequisites for the various exams. When you've decided which exam you want to take, choose it under Take an exam. Good luck!
