Laŭ mia opinio

If you already know the basics of Esperanto and are interested in "life questions", this course, "Laŭ mia opinio," will probably be very interesting for you! It is based on ten life questions, which different people answer from different viewpoints.

The ten life questions of the course are:

  • How was the universe created?
  • How did life appear on Earth?
  • Is there life on other planets?
  • What do you think about "fate"?
  • What happens after "death"?
  • What is the meaning of life?
  • Why does suffering exist?
  • Who/What is the so-called "God"?
  • What is most important in order to be happy?
  • What is the future of humanity?

The responses are made according to these viewpoints: the Bahai faith, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity, natural science, Oomoto, Spiritism, and the Third Testament

Flow of the course

Before you start reading the responses to the ten life questions, we recommend that you read the short introductions of the people who wrote the responses and their viewpoints. After that, you should choose one of the questions from the drop-down menu "The ten life questions," and for each question you should:

  1. Carefully read all responses
  2. Do a short test on the texts you've just read
  3. Give points and a comment to each response (if you want to)
