How do I begin?

We're happy that you want to learn Esperanto! The lernu! site contains different kinds of courses in several levels. If you follow the courses in the order suggested below, you'll soon be speaking Esperanto!

1. I want to see the basic principles and learn a little about how Esperanto works.

2. I'd like to get to know the language using easy courses.

3. I want to start learning from the beginning.

4. I already know some Esperanto and I want to continue my studies.

5. I already speak Esperanto but want to perfect my knowledge.

6. I want to learn the language in an amusing way (liked by many children and young people).

7. I want to see information about other courses.

8. I want to see all of lernu!'s courses.
