Kontakto is a magazine for people who are interested in other countries, peoples, cultures, and societies. Young people (and the young at heart) from more than 90 countries read "Kontakto", and those who work at the magazine also come from around the world. Especially for beginners, some of the texts appear in "easy" and "very easy" language according to Kontakto's easy word list.
Rogener Pavinski has been the editor since October 2010. Since then, Kontakto has had a new page format and new features. One of the most traditional magazines is now a newborn baby. The publisher is UEA, in collaboration with TEJO. "Kontakto" appears with six issues each year and contains columns from TEJO Tutmonde, which is now integrated as part of the same magazine.
Individual members and patrons of TEJO receive Kontakto automatically. Others can subscribe to it by way of the UEA subscription payment system or directly through the UEA (prices vary depending on what country you live in). It is also possible to get a group subscription (starting at six copies) with a discount of up to 40%.
