1. The contest consists of 3 rounds (each test is edited and judged by a colleague from a different country), but you can also participate in just one or two rounds if you want to.
2. Contestants can participate individually or in groups (G). Groups should choose short names for themselves.
3. Contestants can choose a catetory according to their language level: A = beginner(s), B = advanced. (During the year of the competition, the chosen category can't be changed.) Competition in both categories is not permitted.
4. Solutions are accepted electronically or on paper until the deadline.
5. Whoever recruits a new contestant receives 3 extra points, as long as the person who recruited a contestant sends the name of the recruit together with their answers.
6. After the third round, the best contestants from both categories will be awarded a year-long subscription to Juna Amiko.
